Islam Time World ("we", "our", or "the App") is an Islamic utility application providing prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran, Hadith, and related Islamic services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Location data — GPS coordinates used to calculate accurate prayer times and find nearby mosques. We do not store your precise location permanently; only the city name may be cached.
• Language & Madhab preferences — Stored locally on your device (localStorage). Not transmitted to our servers unless you enable cloud sync.
• Telegram user data — If accessed via Telegram, we receive your Telegram user ID, first name, and language code as provided by Telegram's WebApp SDK.
• Device token — For push notification delivery (Android app only), a Firebase Cloud Messaging token is stored on our servers.
• Usage data — Anonymous request logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) for security and performance monitoring. Logs are automatically purged after 30 days.

2. How We Use Information

• To calculate prayer times for your location
• To display weather and air quality data for your city
• To send prayer time reminders (if enabled by you)
• To remember your language, madhab, and notification preferences
• To improve app performance and fix errors

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We use the following third-party services:

• Aladhan API — Prayer times calculation
• OpenWeatherMap — Weather data
• OpenStreetMap / Overpass — Nearby mosque locations
• Al-Quran Cloud — Quran text and audio
• Google Firebase — Push notifications (Android)
• Render.com — App hosting and infrastructure

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your preferences are stored locally on your device. Server-side data (device tokens, location cache) is stored in an encrypted SQLite database hosted on Render.com infrastructure.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all communications.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• Delete your data: Contact us at islamtimeworld@gmail.com
• Opt out of push notifications: Disable in App Settings → Notifications
• Clear local data: Use App Settings → Reset

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be reflected at this URL with an updated date.
